VectoMax WSP, also known as VectoMax WSP Biological Larvicide Fine Granule, is a specialized microbial insecticide designed to target mosquito larvae inhabiting diverse environments. It is suitable for application in regions populated by fish, various aquatic organisms, and vegetation. Moreover, VectoMax WSP can be safely utilized in areas frequented by or in proximity to humans, pets, horses, livestock, birds, or wildlife.

It comes in a water-soluble pouch called VectoMax WSP. The formulation is excellent for treating catch basins and other little breeding places. In order to control West Nile virus (WNV) vectors in urban and suburban areas, the pouch is placed directly into the breeding site.

VectoMax WSP has received approval from the Plant Protection Wing. In recent years, microbial mosquito larvicides have gained widespread acceptance. The importance of Bti, strain AM65-52, and Bs 2362, strain ABTS-1743 in mosquito-control programs around the world is well known. These distinct strains of Bti and Bs each provide distinct advantages over chemical insecticides, as well as relative safety to humans and non-target organisms. Bti has broad-spectrum activity against mosquitos, quick control, and a low resistance potential, whereas Bs has extended residual control, efficacy in polluted water, and high target specificity.
