VectoBac DT is a direct tablet formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis (strain AM65-52) for the control of container-breeding mosquito larvae. The product’s potency against Aedes aegypti larvae is 2,200 International Toxin Units (ITU) per milligram. VectoBac DT is made up entirely of Bti (strain AM65-52) and food-grade inert ingredients.

VectoBac DT has received approval from the Plant Protection Wing. It is intended for home use only. Do not apply directly to treated, finished water supply systems because they are not mosquito breeding grounds. To control container mosquitoes (e.g., Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus) in artificial containers used for water collection, such as drums, storage tanks, jars, rooftop catchments, ornamental fish ponds, ornamental pools or fountains, unused swimming pools, roof gutters, and floor drains.
