Md. Rashed Hossain, an M.Sc. in Entomology under Dhaka University, Dhaka, started his career on 1st July 2020 at Dhaka North City Corporation as an entomologist before working with South City Corporation as well. He has an extensive knowledge about mosquito life cycles, mosquito larvae, insecticides and mosquito-controlling insecticide tests. He is dedicated to ensuring eco-friendly pest control and is very much responsive to public health. His research on mosquitoes is a milestone on the journey towards chemical-free mosquito control.

He has been working in this sector for almost four years as an entomologist. His role at Safeway Pest Control Limited is related to research on Bti products and other entomological work of the company.
